| Jun 19, 2014 | | Jerry Letendre New CEO at Greenerd Press & Machine Co., Inc. | | | Greenerd Press & Machine Company, Inc., a builder of quality hydraulic presses founded in 1883, announced today the appointment of Mr. Jerry Letendre as Chief Executive Officer. Letendre succeeds former Greenerd President Tim Dining, who recently moved on to another management position outside of the machine tool industry. As Mr. Letendre takes on the CEO role, the company has also begun executing a growth strategy, fully supported by capital investment, the addition of key engineering staff and increased production capacity. Mr. Letendre began investing in Greenerd in 2005, and over the subsequent seven years had come to fully recognize the great potential of the company. In December 2012, he acquired all outstanding shares of Greenerd . "This is an exciting time for the company. I am fully committed to leading Greenerd to a new level of innovation and growth, building on the company’s heritage and sterling reputation as a builder of reliable, high-quality hydraulic presses," said Letendre.
Mr. Letendre has held senior executive positions in several multinational corporations, living and working in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, and spent half his career at General Electric Company. Letendre holds degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration, and resides with his family in southern New Hampshire. |
